Linda Czajka - President & CEO In 1982, Linda joined XMCO INC. where she helped the company develop and grow into a leading Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) company, focused on assisting large hardware manufacturers in meeting the U.S. Department of Defense support requirements. She assumed the role of President and CEO in 1991, and has been instrumental in keeping the company’s growth rate stable and expanding its business base. Linda also has significant experience in helping both U.S. and foreign companies in the interpretation of requirements and preparation of proposals for submission to various U.S. Department of Defense agencies responsible for the acquisition of new and updated weapon systems of all types. Internationally, she has worked with a number of companies in Sweden, Germany, and the United Kingdom, and has represented those companies to senior military and acquisition officials in the United States. Linda began her business career in 1978 taking a position with the Chrysler Defense Engineering Division, now known as General Dynamics Land Systems Division. During her four-year tenure there, she was promoted into several supervisory and management positions, the last being Manager of the Technical Training Department. Prior to joining industry, Linda earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree from Eastern Michigan University and her Master of Science Degree from Wayne State University. She has developed and taught courses in business communications and organizational development at the Detroit College of Business and Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. Linda is a member of the Association of the United States Army and the National Defense Industrial Association. She has been nominated as one of Detroit’s Most Enterprising Women in Business in 2004.
Joan oversees numerous programs for a wide variety of major military vehicle systems, including construction equipment, material handling equipment and tactical vehicles. She works in partnership with OEM and DoD counterparts through all phases of program execution to help ensure success. Before joining XMCO, Joan was a technical training instructor at General Dynamics Land Systems Division. In this role, Joan was responsible for designing and developing a wide variety of instructional and promotional programs for use by U.S. Army personnel. Joan was responsible for analyzing logistic support analysis (LSA) data for the M1E1 Tank. She was also responsible for writing, producing, and directing videotape presentations that ranged from major promotional productions highlighting General Dynamics’ products to short safety training programs for military personnel. Joan has a Bachelors of Science Degree in Mass Communications and Journalism from Western Michigan University.
Her strengths lie in attention to detail, customer relations, proven ability to create and implement a process, and the ability to organize and manage multiple projects at once. This diverse background and skill set has made Therese particularly suited to meet the demanding requirements of the U.S. Marine Corps programs. Theresa holds a Bachelor of Science in English from Central Michigan University.
Martha has a Bachelors Degree from the University of Miami, FL and Masters Degree from Central Michigan University.
He has trained numerous technical writers and editors in documentation development, technical writing, and editing and has developed style guides, templates, and tracking systems for teaching and monitoring progress. Ken has also developed ISO 9000 procedures for the development of TMs. Vehicle systems for which Ken has developed military documentation include the M1A1 Abrams Main Battle Tank, M2/M3 Bradley Fighting Vehicle, M109 Self-Propelled Howitzer, M551 Sheridan Light Tank, M88A1 Medium Recovery Vehicle, SUSV (Small Unit Support Vehicle), M105A3 Cargo Trailer, M967A2/M969A3 Tanker, Caterpillar 420D Backhoe Loader, Caterpillar 613CS Scraper, and Caterpillar 613CWD Water Distributor, and the HMEE-I. Ken has a Bachelors Degree from Trinity College in Newburgh, Indiana and a Diploma in Tool Design from Detroit Engineering Institute.
Jim is responsible for the oversight and management of Army programs for the development of complete logistic packages consisting of TMs, training, provisioning, maintenance analyses and NMWRs. He works closely with the customer to support them throughout the project and to ensure program objectives are met. He is particularly adept at drawing on his technical skills to provide management leadership with a widely diverse team, including foreign nationals. Both government personnel and commercial contractors work easily with Jim to successfully complete mission requirements on schedule. Jim earned his Project Management Professional (PMP) certification in 2008.
Marie brings to XMCO a broad knowledge of logistic support, and the interrelationship between supply, maintenance, and engineering. Her understanding of the effective integration of key elements is necessary to achieve desired program objectives. Her ongoing education, coupled with her experience in providing support to the user in the field, allows Ms. Ravetta to anticipate potential problem areas and develop alternatives to prevent and/or correct them. Marie is pursuing her Business Management Degree from St. Clair County Community College. She has completed Level 1 certification in Life Cycle Logistics and Program Management (currently pursuing Level 2). She received certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) in 2008.
Derrick has over 20 years of provisioning and RPSTL expertise and has supervised the development and delivery of numerous provisioning/RPSTL files for TACOM equipment. Derrick has earned a Professional Project Management Certification and Professional Management Certification from Walsh College.
Mike possesses over 15 years of technical manual experience specializing in vehicle repair and diagnostic information. He has developed and published manuals for General Motors Corporation, Ford Motor Company, Saturn, and the U.S. Army. These written manuals ranged from small repair procedures to vehicle structural frame repairs to 30-ton earth moving equipment maintenance. Most recently, Michael was Program Manager for the multiple Add-on-Armor (AoA) programs for XMCO. The AoA programs, which fall under one umbrella for the TACOM PM shop, encompassed five different contracts with different prime contractors. Michael also possesses extensive experience with developing diagnostics for electrical/electronic systems, on-board control modules, and communication interfaces between on-board modules and off-board diagnostic equipment. Michael is well-versed in XMCO’s TM development philosophy, and provides direct customer support at every phase of the project. Michael received specialized training from Lawrence Technical University, Macomb Community College, and Orange Coast Community College. Michael is ASE certified and is a Michigan State Certified Mechanic.
Mary is responsible for defining the final output requirements of deliverables in accordance with the governing specifications. She is also responsible for providing customized FrameMaker templates to the XMCO technical writers, and serving as the internal contact for both writers and other personnel regarding related issues. She has mastered the most current military standards and specifications formats, and supervises a team of experienced Documentation Specialists, Graphic Illustrators and Quality Control Editors in the production of quality draft and final publications. She also supervises the production and delivery of electronic and paper files as required by each contract. Mary has Bachelors Degree from University of Michigan and a Masters Degree from Bowling Green State University. |
