With Increase in ILS mission, XMCO INC. expands

With the increase in ILS mission, XMCO INC. saw the need to expand both office and shop space to support TM validations and verifications. Several options were researched, including moving to other facilities in the Warren area.  Fortunately, the timing was perfect for XMCO, since Oshkosh Corporation, who shared the building, also needed to expand.  The Oshkosh solution was to move into another building nearby.  This made 4,300 square feet of office space and 7,700 square feet of climate controlled shop space immediately available, increasing the total floor space for the XMCO INC. building at 5501 Enterprise Court to almost 34,000 square feet.

Our validation facility includes two large shop areas, suitable for both hands-on procedures and desktop reviews, all the necessary hydraulic jacks, stands, and lifting equipment necessary. We have a SATS Tool Set, General Mechanic’s tool kit and a wide assortment of tools contained in the Common Number 1 tool set.  Our facility also contains consumables, such as petroleum, oils, and lubricants, and all required safety/first aid equipment, as well as desks, telephones, copy and fax machines, bathrooms, and kitchen areas. Commercial Driver’s Licensed (CDL) operators are on staff to move and operate machines.

XMCO is in the process of minor construction to make doorways and other infrastructure changes to allow the entire building to be integrated for computers, phones and security.  The additional parking is also a greatly needed improvement.  This low-cost solution will provide additional flexibility to support our government customers well into the future.
